Join EASC at IU Bloomington for a summer workshop focused on the remarkable literary productions of China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. The workshop covers pre-modern and modern literature including poetry and novels. Each day, world literature and curricular experts will guide participants in developing lesson plans to bring the literature into the classroom.
Teachers will receive a set of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean literary works along with free lodging and two meals per day. Following successful completion of the workshop participants will receive a certificate of completion for 36 professional development hours. Priority admission is reserved for high school and middle school educators, but elementary school educators will be considered. For any questions reach out to easc@iu.edu.
