In this 5-week seminar, K-12 educators will have the opportunity to dive into the world of Japanese literature to better understand this body of work and how it can be brought into the classroom. Participants will learn about various forms of Japanese literature, including seminal works like The Tale of Genji. Discussions will be held with Professor Lynne Miyake of Pomona College, and the seminar will aid K-12 educators with incorporating these lessons into their curriculum.
