Join your colleagues for a workshop on teaching graphic novels about different regions of the world. This workshop will cover the history of comics in the US and the world, an introduction to Comic Studies, using comics in the classroom, and a teaching guide and other resources for comics at Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.

  • Michigan K-12 teachers will receive 16 SCECHs. Upon completing the program and submitting required lesson plans, participants will receive a $500 stipend and graphic novel resources.
