This thirty-hour virtual introductory seminar is open to full-time K-12 teachers of history, geography, social studies, English/language arts, art, music, technology, and other teachers who desire to incorporate teaching about East Asia into their curriculum. School librarians, specialists and administrators are also welcome.

Seminars are scheduled for Monday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, with follow-up conversations via an email thread. The discussions will focus on the use of webinar topics in the classroom and connections to seminar books. Each session will count for 2 hours. In addition, there will be a number of other required webinars, both synchronous and asynchronous, to be determined.
