Exploring East Asian Visual Culture

Course Description: This seminar will look at a variety of visual arts, including religious iconography, woodblock prints, political posters, music videos, film, and graphic novels. In addition to presentations, the seminar includes museum visits and optional outings to some of LA's "Asia Towns." Those completing all requirements are eligible for a stipend (if not housed by the program) and USC continuing education units (CEUs).
Registration and Info:

A complimentary five-day residential summer seminar at USC for educators. Participants will have the option of commuting to USC and receiving a $250 stipend, or be housed near the USC campus. Breakfast, lunch, and parking will be provided. *Please note that you must live at least 30 miles away from campus to be eligible for the housing option.
