Audience: K-12 teachers interested in incorporating East Asian culture and history into their classrooms.
Course Description: The 30-hour seminar on East Asian history and culture uses a variety of teaching methods—group work, lecture, film, guest presentations, and class discussion of assigned readings. In addition to learning about key issues in East Asia, participants will be introduced to the vast range of primary sources and resources available for teaching.
