Course Description: The United States and Japan are treaty allies with a long history of successful cooperation. We share many of the same security and environmental concerns. Our economies are highly integrated, with immense trade and investment flowing both ways. Our economic relationship, however, has had its ups and downs. In this day-long workshop, we’ll examine U.S.-Japan relations, discuss doing business in and with Japan, and the design of Japan’s cities. There is no cost to participate. All materials, refreshments, parking, and lunch will be provided.
